Good news! Starting January 2023, we will have two more driver education instructors at SFHS. Until then, we will be behind for range and road sessions. Hopefully we can be caught up with range sessions and the Range Waitlist by the end of the school year....... We appreciate your patience.
We can offer ONE range session in February.
The Range Waitlist has now been updated through November 2022 class. Click on the "Range and Road" tab to see it. If your name is on that list, you may sign-up (if slots are available) for February's range session.
Student's in January's 2023 class you CANNOT sign up for range. You need to be 100% finished and pass the class to sign-up for range.
The drop date for February's class has come and gone. February's class roster is finalized. Please click on the "Next Class" to see the roster and classroom information.

If you have questions related to your Learner Permit expiring and you will not finish the Driver Ed process prior to your expiration date, please contact the DLD (Driver License Division) for information.
Students that complete an online class outside of SFHS or attend an in person class outside of SFHS:
Unfortunately I do NOT receive anything from the state and or district verifying you have passed the course. Before you can be added to Range/Road you need to show proof of classroom completion to Coach Gub. Without this information you cannot start the Range and Road process. You also need to pay to pay $80 total for Range and Road at the Finance Office. After you pay your $80, you will be contacted when there's room in a Range session.
Again, it's your responsibility to provide proof of class completion. We will not find you to get this information. Proof of class completion needs to be provided to Coach Gub. You can email Coach Gub pictures with this information@ casey.nelson@nebo.edu. Thanks for your attention!
Students, don't forget to take your Traffic Trends Exam. This is something that is required by the STATE. You CANNOT get your license until this is completed. As discussed in class and also in the Handbook, you have to get a 100% on the exam. You can take it as many times as needed. This is a different exam from the test you take to get your Learner Permit.
A link to the Traffic Trends Exam is below. If you are having problems with the exam, please contact the DLD. Driver Ed teachers cannot do anything about it.

- Drop Date: 1/3
- Time: 5:30-7:30 am

- February 2023, hybrid class:
